Varshini Chellapilla is a summer editorial intern with PublicSource. She is a student pursuing journalism at the Pennsylvania State University. She worked as a features/investigations reporter for The Daily Collegian, where she pursued stories that featured the fast-paced lives of student EMTs and explored the history of anti-Semitism at the university. In the past, she has worked as the communications intern for various departments at Penn State and for several on-campus publications. Although she has lived in nine different cities throughout her life, this is her first time in Pittsburgh and she already feels at home.
