Oliver Morrison
Oliver Morrison is the health and environment reporter at Pittsburgh’s Public Source, covering the systems and conditions that shape people’s well-being, from health care and pollution to infrastructure and climate. Oliver served in this role from 2017-2022 and returned in 2026. He has more than a decade of experience covering politics, the environment, immigration, education, public health and more. Previously, Oliver worked as an investigations reporter at PennLive, a general assignment reporter for 90.5 WESA and as an enterprise reporter for The Wichita Eagle. Oliver has received dozens of local, regional and national awards for his work, including three Murrow awards and three Best of Show Golden Quills. He is a graduate of Deep Springs College, the University of Oxford and the Newmark CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Oliver lives in Pittsburgh's Troy Hill neighborhood with his wife and two children.
