As plans for the fall are being designed by school districts in the Pittsburgh region, PublicSource spoke with parents and care providers about the struggles and unforeseen advantages of remote learning for kids on the autism spectrum.

Veonna is an editorial intern for PublicSource. She attends the California University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a major in English with a concentration in journalism. There, she serves as a staff writer for the school newspaper, Cal Times, and is vice president for a chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
