Tory graduated from Indiana University in May with degrees in journalism and political science. While at IU, she served as the managing editor for her college paper, the Indiana Daily Student, where she developed a love for local journalism. Originally from Indianapolis, she spent the summer reporting for IndyStar, writing about business, affordable housing and health trends. Her love for journalism lies in the ability to spotlight stories that matter to her community, which she’s excited to continue in Pittsburgh this fall. When she’s not reporting, she’s spending time with her dogs, doodling or finding new music.
