❤️ Best $15ish meal(s): The Chicken Shawarma Pita Wrap at $12.99, the Loaded Chicken Shawarma Fries or Chicken Shawarma and Falafel Rice Bowls, all at $13.99.

Why go?

A yellow graphic with a faint city map background reads: “$15ish Meal Map. Explore the map,” with a right-pointing arrow.

The owner, Jason Taylor, is one of the few people in Pittsburgh that makes authentic Lebanese chicken shawarma. He even travels to Lebanon to bring back Lebanese nuts, which you’ll find on the menu. The menu is small and so is the operation, so you know everything is made with attention to detail. Truly a great spot for grab-and-go lunch and dinner, or a casual night out in Lawrenceville.

Good to know before you go

There is limited counter seating indoors and picnic tables outside under a gazebo. In the winter, they put up a thick plastic covering and have space heaters. Street parking only.

A green storefront labeled “Shawarma Wine & Mezze Bar” with outdoor tables. The word “PATIO” is painted vertically on the adjacent brick wall.
