❤️ Best $15ish meal(s): The Classic Moonlit Double at $11, and you could  add Shoestring Fries for $4. For $9, you can get the Vegan Classic Single, an Impossible burger patty on a vegan/gluten free bun topped with vegan American cheese, pickles, griddled onions and vegan moon sauce. For $13, you can get Bacon Double Cheeseburger or Loaded Smash Fries that come with a double patty.

Why go?

A yellow graphic with a faint city map background reads: “$15ish Meal Map. Explore the map,” with a right-pointing arrow.

Moonlit has the smashburger on lock. Their Classic Moonlit Double is the perfect flagship burger with griddled onions, pickles, American cheese and their signature moon sauce. If you want to downsize to a single patty, this brings the cost down to $8. They also have a couple other burgers on the menu, but my pick is always the Classic. It’s the perfect stop for any event at PPG Paints Arena pre-show or pre-sporting event because it’s just a short walk.

What to order

Classic Moonlit Double & Shoestring Fries ($15)

Good to know before you go

There is a parking garage for Duquesne’s campus nearby & a few lots, but pricing can vary greatly depending on if there is an event at PPG. Moonlit also has locations in Dormont, Sewickley and Garfield if you’re looking for less of a question mark on parking. They have gluten-free buns and Impossible Burgers available to swap in for any dietary restrictions. There is also a milkshake bar if you want a sweet treat afterward.
