Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking feedback on its bus route update as it faces declining ridership. At a meeting Wednesday, public transit users voiced concerns over elimination of routes in Allegheny County’s southern and eastern suburbs.

Lucas Dufalla is an editorial intern and senior history major at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. He writes for the school’s student-run newspaper, The Bowdoin Orient. Last summer, he worked for the Portland Press Herald, Maine’s largest daily newspaper, where he covered economic development and small business in the southern part of the state. Although he goes to school in New England, he is originally from Pittsburgh and hopes to connect with his hometown by covering local economic development at PublicSource. Outside of the newsroom, he loves to take runs through Highland Park and take photos on his camera.
