UPDATE: District 9 city council candidate Kierran Young stated in the April 18 Facebook Live interview that Councilman Rev. Ricky Burgess accepted $250,000 from executives of LG Realty Advisors, including its founder/president Lawrence Gumberg, and real estate developer Walnut Capital. However, according to campaign finance data posted on the Open Book Pittsburgh website, Burgess appears to have received a combined $12,900 from the two developers’ executives and their known spouses since 2012.
